A matéria divulgada no dia 16 de dezembro no jornal SBT Brasil, confirma que o principal critério dos brasileiros no momento de compra é a desinfecção, superando preço, custo-benefício e qualidade dos produtos. A pesquisa do Instituto Locomotiva e Onet foi utilizada como referência por especialistas que reforçaram que, apesar de 49% dos entrevistados se sentirem seguros em fazer compras em lojas físicas, 44% escolhem um estabelecimento pelas medidas de desinfecção. Além disso, 62% dos entrevistados preferem fazer compras online, aumentando o fluxo de compras virtuais.
